Turning a commercial process into a working CRM system
The recommendation was the system. So we built it.
- The situation
- A software company needed its commercial workflow translated into an operational CRM system. The process existed, but it lived across people, habits and spreadsheets rather than in anything the team could run on.
- The question
- What system fits the way this business actually sells — rather than the way a generic template assumes it should?
- What we did
- We worked from the business process backward: how opportunities entered the pipeline, how relationships were managed, what information the team needed at each stage, and where the existing process created friction. Those requirements were then translated into a CRM structure designed around the company’s real commercial process.
- Outcome / next step
- A working system built to the process rather than the other way round. This engagement is the clearest example of something we do routinely: we do not necessarily stop at the recommendation.
